Meet Lauren Hood, a dedicated Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, providing a comprehensive range of psychiatric services. Lauren's journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wyoming. As her career progressed, she obtained certification as a psychiatric registered nurse, working in various mental health facilities across Colorado. Most recently Lauren has been working as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Southern Colorado, serving a diverse range of clients, across the lifespan.
Drawing from her vast experience, Lauren has served diverse populations across various settings, including psychiatric emergency rooms, addiction treatment centers, and inpatient psychiatric facilities.
Lauren's approach to patient care is rooted in empathy, aiming to meet each client where they are in their life's journey. She takes a holistic view of treatment, addressing physical, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs. As a Colorado native, Lauren cherishes the outdoors, delighting in skiing, camping, yoga, and spending cherished moments with her family and beloved dogs.
