Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

As health and wellness professionals, we are obligated to adhere to the ethics of our profession and the law. Information that you share with us will be kept confidential; information cannot and will not be disclosed without your written permission.

Exceptions to confidentiality include:

Suspected child abuse, dependant adult, or elder abuse. We are required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities.

If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, we must notify the police and inform the intended victim.

If a client intends to harm himself or herself, we will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If we are unsure of their ability to keep themself safe, we will take further measures to help ensure their safety.
