Heather Stichter, LSW

Licensed Social Worker

Heather is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Colorado. She completed both her undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Social Work in Indiana, where she grew up, attending Anderson University and Indiana Wesleyan University.

Heather is passionate about supporting young people as they navigate the challenges of everyday life — whether that means managing anxiety, depression, perfectionism, major life changes, or simply figuring out who they are and where they belong. She also has specialized training and experience working with OCD and is dedicated to helping those who feel overwhelmed by this complex and often misunderstood condition. Heather understands that life is a mix of joy, heartache, good days, bad days, and everything in between, and she strives to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, supported, and empowered to live the life they’ve been given.

With experience in teen residential treatment, Heather is attuned to the unique difficulties of the young adult/teen years and is committed to supporting clients in developing the tools they need to thrive during this pivotal stage of life. She uses a blend of evidence-based approaches like DBT, CBT, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and tailors therapy to each person’s unique needs and goals.

Outside of therapy, Heather loves spending time outdoors, reading, finding cozy coffee shops, connecting with people, and enjoying a healthy amount of retail therapy. She believes we aren’t meant to figure life out alone — and finds it a privilege to walk alongside her clients as they do the hard but meaningful work of growing, healing, and discovering who they want to be.
