Nashua is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Colorado, committed to creating an environment where clients feel safe, respected, and supported. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona and a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Louisville.
Her primary clinical experience has been working with active duty Service Members in the behavioral health setting, giving her valuable insight into the distinct challenges and strengths of military life. Nashua enjoys working with adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression and adjustment difficulties. She is skilled in helping clients develop coping strategies, manage distress, and build resilience in the face of life’s demands.
Grounded in the belief that therapy is most effective when rooted in a strong therapeutic relationship, Nashua tailors her care to the individual needs and goals of each client. She works from a person-centered and strengths-based perspective, incorporating elements of Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). This flexible approach allows her to meet clients where they are, supporting growth, drawing on inner strengths, and helping to clarify values-based goals. Nashua believes deeply in each person’s potential for growth and is committed to offering a supportive environment where meaningful, lasting change can take place.
Outside of work, Nashua enjoys reading, skiing, spending quality time with family, and traveling to explore new places and experiences.
