Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado and Illinois. She completed her Master’s degree in Social Work at Rutgers University and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Family Studies at Miami University. She has over twenty years of experience working with children, adults, couples and families in a variety of social work and mental health settings including foster care, adoption, schools, and private practice.
Lisa’s focus is on supporting individuals, couples and families wishing to make positive changes in their lives. She enjoys working with pre-teens, teenagers and adults, supporting clients with anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, grief and loss, parenting, and life transitions.
Lisa believes it is important to provide a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for clients while using an individualized therapeutic process. Lisa's clinical approach is holistic, meeting each client where they are at and incorporating different therapeutic modalities to best meet their needs. She uses a strengths-based approach and integrates CBT, DBT, and psychoeducation in her work with clients. Lisa’s goal is to help clients gain self awareness, identify their strengths and learn new skills to empower them to manage current and future challenges.
In her free time Lisa enjoys spending time with family, reading, biking, hiking, and traveling.
