Courtnee Divine, MSW, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Courtnee Divine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Colorado, Missouri, and Kansas. She is trained in EMDR and integrates somatic approaches in her work with complex trauma. She is also trained in perinatal mental health, with a special interest in perinatal psychopharmacology.

Courtnee earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Kansas. During her graduate training, she completed practicum placements in school settings and at the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA), where she advocated for sexual assault reform at the state capitol — an experience that further deepened her passion for trauma work and supporting survivors.

Courtnee believes that every person carries a unique story, inherent strengths, and a hope for something more. She strives to create a therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in helping individuals and families move toward healing, growth, and deeper connection.

As a mother, wife, and dog mama, Courtnee’s personal experiences in motherhood and family life deeply influence the care she provides. She is especially passionate about supporting women throughout all stages of the parenting journey — from fertility and pregnancy to postpartum and the ongoing complexities of raising children.

She has a particular passion for working with individuals navigating traumatic birth experiences, NICU journeys, childhood trauma, sexual trauma, and complex family dynamics. Her work is trauma-informed and grounded in understanding the connection between the mind and body.

Courtnee’s clinical experience includes individual, couples, family, and group therapy, as well as school-based mental health services, inpatient psychiatric care, and crisis response work.

Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys biking, reading, practicing yoga, dancing, spending time outdoors with her family, and visiting her family’s farm. During the winter, she loves skiing, while summers are best spent near the water.
