Kari Castain, M.A., LAC, LPC
(She/Her)
Licensed Professional Counselor & Licensed Addictions Counselor
Kari is a compassionate and collaborative therapist who works with adults navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, substance use, and a sense of feeling disconnected from themselves or dissatisfied with their lives. She creates an open, welcoming space where clients can be authentic, explore their needs and values, and develop the insight and skills needed to create meaningful change.
Kari integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and strength-based approaches to help clients better understand themselves, overcome negative patterns, regulate emotions, and build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
She earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Substance Abuse Counseling from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Kari is a Nationally Certified Counselor with additional licensure in Substance Abuse Counseling and continues advanced training in DBT and IFS.
Outside of her work, Kari enjoys crafting, gardening, getting lost in a good book, and making memories with her husband and two children. She may be a good fit for those who feel overwhelmed, disconnected from who they once were, or unsure how to move toward a life with greater purpose and meaning.
