Licensed Professional Counselor
Samantha is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC.0019407) in Colorado and has been working as a therapist since 2018. She graduated from Wittenberg University in 2014 with a BA in Psychology and Sociology and graduated from Antioch University Seattle in 2018 with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Substance Use Counseling and Multicultural Counseling.
Samantha has experience working with both teens and adults struggling with a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and life transitions. Samantha’s approach is integrative drawing from CBT, DBT, ACT, narrative techniques, somatic techniques, mindfulness, attachment/psychodynamic, and EMDR.
Samantha believes that one of the biggest predictors of therapeutic success is the quality of the relationship between the therapist and client. Therefore, Samantha strives to create a counseling atmosphere that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative in which all clients can feel seen, heard, and understood. Samantha is intentional about being her full authentic self and hopes that you can be your full authentic self as well. Samantha believes that each person is unique and works to prioritize each client’s unique needs, experiences, and preferences. You are the expert to your own life and Samantha is here to walk alongside you on your journey of healing and wellness.
In her free time, Samantha enjoys hiking, volunteering for trail work, reading, cooking, and spending time with her dog.
