Skye Willis, MA, LPC

(She/Her)

Licensed Professional Counselor

Skye has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2012 and has been working in the mental health field since 2009. She graduated with her Masters of Arts in Counseling from Colorado Christian University in Loveland, CO in 2010 and has experience working in domestic violence shelters, community mental health centers, private practice, and with the police department as a Victim's Advocate. Skye enjoys working with adults and children.

Skye's approach to therapy is first and foremost, person-centered. She knows that every person's story and experience is different, therefore a "one size fits all" approach to healing and overcoming does not work. She takes an eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing concepts from Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, Art Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Psychoeducation. Skye is a strong believer in the truth of the phrase "We are wounded in relationship, but also healed in relationship." She would love the opportunity to facilitate a safe, nurturing, and healing environment in which you can share your story, explore your wounds, reclaim your power, and take mastery over your story and healing.

Skye has experience working with a variety of concerns such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, abusive relationships, sexual trauma, caregiver support and stress management, navigating spiritual and existential life themes, and parenting chronically ill children.

In her free time, Skye loves going on adventures with her three boys, reading, drawing, painting, and playing with her dogs.
